Castlebar’s Christmas Market 2025

Castlebar was filled with festive cheer as Castlebar’s Christmas Market took place at Collectors Lane from Thursday to Sunday, 18–21 December, welcoming visitors daily from 1pm to 8pm.

Over the four days, Collectors Lane was transformed into a warm and welcoming festive hub, showcasing local makers, unique Christmas gifts, delicious food, and a lively atmosphere enjoyed by visitors of all ages. The market was a wonderful celebration of Castlebar’s community spirit and the creativity and dedication of its local businesses.

More than just a seasonal event, the Christmas Market highlighted the importance and impact of shopping local. Every visit and purchase helped support small businesses, strengthen the local economy, and keep money circulating within the community, contributin

g to job creation and supporting the many local initiatives and sports clubs sponsored by Castlebar businesses.

Castlebar Chamber of Commerce was delighted to support the market as part of the Shop Local Campaign, delivered in collaboration with the Local Enterprise Office in Mayo. Initiatives like this play a vital role in promoting sustainable local growth, social responsibility, and a thriving town centre.
