The Iconic Miss Ireland Competition will be hosted this year at The Royal Theatre Castlebar with the main festival events taking place on August 19th and 20th.
This year’s competition celebrates 75 years of the competition and will have over 1,500 guests in attendance at a three day festival with celebrities and former Miss Irelands from the last seven decades.
Our own Miss Mayo contestant is Lauren Forkin and we wish her luck.
Alongside local media coverage this event will be front and centre on national Media with the organising committee already having started their national media campaign.
Castlebar Chamber supports this event as for Castlebar it shines a spotlight on our town and will also be of significant commercial benefit from the influx of attendees many who will be in town for that whole week.
