Castlebar’s exclusive “Growing Business” event got underway at Breaffy House Resort. The event brought together entrepreneurs and business professionals for a dynamic evening centred on the critical pillars of business growth: Development, Sustainability, and Success.

The event was designed to provide attendees with valuable insights, strategic discussions, and meaningful networking opportunities, all aimed at fostering a thriving business environment in the region.

Speakers at the event include prominent figures such as Pat McDonagh (Supermac), Evelyn O’Toole (CLS), Sorcha O’Grady (TruckScience), Owen Clifford (Bank of Ireland), John Magee (LEO), Sarah Flood (Snap Print), and Derek Hannick (Lean Green Management Services). Each has shared their expertise on driving growth and sustainability across different industries, offering participants actionable strategies to help their businesses succeed.

A key highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the new Castlebar Chamber logo by Anne Conlon, President of the Castlebar Chamber. In her address, Conlon emphasised the Chamber’s deep connection to the local community, saying, “We work in businesses, own businesses, and consume products and services from Castlebar businesses. These same businesses contribute to the community by volunteering and financially backing local groups. We are also the voice of the business community with the local authority, and we are delighted to be working closely with them. It makes sense that our tagline is: Connecting Business and Community.”

The event’s special guest speaker and moderator, Ivan Yates, has kept the audience engaged through an interactive panel discussion and a lively Q&A session, adding further depth to the evening’s conversations.

The “Growing Business” offered valuable takeaways for all in attendance, reinforcing Castlebar’s commitment to building a stronger, more sustainable business community.
